Registration Process for Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology (GAT-B)/ Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) 2024 begins, Apply now!
GAT-B and BET 2024 Registration begins – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun the registration process for Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology (GAT-B) and Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) 2024 on its official website. The last date to register for GAT-B and BET 2024 is March 6, 2024. Candidates can visit the official website: https://dbt.ntaonline.in/or nta.ac.in to apply for the examination.
Candidates are required to pay the application fee of ₹1200/- (₹600/- in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category). If candidates want to appear for both examinations, then they will have to pay ₹2400/- as application fees (₹1200/- for SC/ST/PwD category candidates).
The facility to make corrections in the particulars of application form will be available from March 8 to 9, 2024. The Examination is scheduled to be held on April 20, 2024.
Steps to Register for NTA GAT-B/BET 2024
- Visit the official website dbt.nta.ac.in
- On the homepage, click on “GAT-B & BET 2024 New Registration”
- Register and create login credentials
- Login and fill the online application
- Upload the required documents
- Pay the applicable fee and submit form
The examination for GAT B will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon and BET exam will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm. The exam will be a computer-based test and the question paper will be in English.
Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) is an All-India Entrance Examination to test the eligibility of bonafide Indian nationals for admissions to DBT supported Postgraduate programs in Biotechnology and allied areas, at Participating Institutions/Universities in India. DBT supported Postgraduate programs include: M.Sc. Biotechnology and allied areas; M.Tech. Biotechnology and allied areas; M.Sc. Agricultural Biotechnology and M.V.Sc. Animal Biotechnology
Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) is the national qualifying examination for award of Doctoral Research Fellowships under the DBT-Junior Research Fellowship (DBTJRF) Program. BET is an All-India computer-based examination which is held once every year. These fellowships are tenable at any recognized university/institution in India where the selected fellow registers for PhD program.
