JEE, NEET 2021 Syllabus not reduced, Education Minister

No reduction in JEE Main and NEET 2021 syllabus, will have more options to answer the questions

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank while interacting with students of Kendriya Vidyalaya said that there will be no reduction in JEE Main and NEET 2021 Syllabus. He also said that choices would be given to students for the topics in the syllabus that have been removed.

He said that the students will only have to study the revised syllabus for their CBSE Board exams and for the competitive examinations, this year choice would be included in the question papers. The portion that has been removed would only form the part where internal choices will be available. As for the board examination, no questions would be asked from the chucked out.”

This announcement has given a big relief to the students of CBSE Class 10, 12 boards exams 2021 and also to those who would be appearing in competitive exams such as NEET and JEE.

With most of the boards reducing the syllabus by 30% as a one-time measure considering the hardships faced by the students due to the coronavirus pandemic, students have been demanding reduction in the syllabus for the competitive examinations as well.
