Online Degree Verification Certificate from NCTE
Degree Verification Certificate from NCTE can be obtained online – Those students who have been pursuing their teachers training course now would be able to get their certificates online directly from the National Council of Teachers Education (NCTE) itself. NCTE plans to introduce a portal for the same. The students who are pursuing courses such as Bachelor of Education (B. Ed), Masters of Education (M. Ed) or any similar Integrated course from a training institute can avail the benefits of this course by applying for degree verification portal online.
It has always been the norm for the students who are pursuing training to become teachers and have pursued degree courses such as BEd, MEd, MPEd, DLEd, DPEd among others to get their degrees verified from NCTE. Until now, this process was manual. Official statistics state that currently in India, there are 19,000 registered BEd colleges and 90 lakh registered teachers.

Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ who is India’s Human Resource Development Minister inaugurated the new portal of NCTE for verification purposes and also the new building of NCTE. During the launch, he stated that NCTE has designed this portal to facilitate pupil-teacher’s registration and the required documents so that they can get employed as teachers successfully.
Satbir Kabir who is the Chairman of NCTE stated that collectively the school teachers are responsible for deciding the future of India’s next generation. Currently, they are in charge of educating over 25 crore school kids from approximately three lakhs registered schools in India. There is a big challenge to pick qualified teachers for such as huge population of students.
