Application Process for Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET-UG) 2024 begins, Apply now
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun the application process for the Common University Entrance Test -Undergraduate (CUET-UG) 2024 on its official website. The application process began on Tuesday i.e. February 27 and will conclude on March 26, 2024. Interested candidates can fill in the online application form at the official website – cuet.nta.nic.in.
Steps to Fill CUET 2024 Application Form
- Visit the official website — cuet.nta.nic.in.
- Register by filling in personal details and contact addresses.
- Using the system generated registration or application number, complete the CUET 2024 application form.
- Upload scanned documents
- Pay the application fee and submit the application form
The exam dates for CUET-UG 2024 have been scheduled between May 15 and 31, 2024. The exam will be conducted in 13 languages across 380 cities in India, including 26 cities abroad. CUET acts as a single window for the students willing to take admission to the undergraduate courses of different central universities and participating Universities across the country.
For the Academic Session 2024-25, CUET (UG) 2024 will observed some changes like –
- The examination will be administered in two formats depending on the number of applications received. If the number of applications exceeds 1.5 lakh then the exam will be conducted in the traditional pen-and-paper mode. While with the fever number of applications, the exam will be conducted in a computer-based format.
- Whenever feasible, the majority of examinations will be held in a single session. Subjects like English, Maths, Physics, and Chemistry are anticipated to be conducted using the traditional pen-and-paper format. CUET-UG, being the second-largest entrance exam in the country with a significant number of applicants, falls into this category.
- There will be a restriction on the number of subject choices for the undergraduate common entrance test. Candidates can now choose up to six subjects, including the general test, as opposed to the existing option of selecting ten subjects.
