CBSE announced exam date for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2023

 
CTET 2023 Exam Date: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Exam date for the 17th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) examination. As per the official notification, CBSE will conduct CTET 2023 in offline pen-and-paper mode on August 20, 2023.  
 
The notice on the official website reads, “The candidates registered for the 17th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) are hereby informed that the CTET examination will now be conducted in offline mode i.e. pen-paper (OMR) based on 20.08.2023 (SUNDAY) all over India in the specified cities.”
 
The application process for the same commence on April 27, 2023 and concluded on May 26, 2023
 
The test will be conducted in 20 (Twenty) languages.  The exam is held for two papers – Paper I is for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes 1 to 5 and Paper II is for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes 6 to 8. A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers.
