CTET 2019 Last date to apply online on March 5, 2019
CTET 2019 is the national level entrance exam conducted by CBSE to appoint the teachers for the primary and the upper level. The exam is conducted twice in a year during the month of December and July. This year CTET for July session is scheduled for 7th of July 2019.
Candidates who will score more than 60% in CTET for any of the paper will receive a CTET eligibility certificate. See CTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
The paper consists of 150 objective type questions and the duration of the exam is 150 minutes (both papers). Mode of applications will be online and there will be no negative marking.
Online application starts from 5th of February and the last date to fill is 3rd of March. Application fee can be paid up to 8th of March (before 03:30 pm). The minimum age to appear in CTET 2019 is 18 and candidates belonging to the reserved categories will be provided with 5% relaxation in the qualifying marks in the Academic Eligibility of CTET.

Primary Teacher (Paper1)
1. Candidates must have passed senior secondary with at least 50% marks.
2. They must have a pass certificate of 2-years Diploma in Education.
Elementary Teacher (Paper2)
1. Candidates must have passed senior secondary with at least 50% marks.
2. They must have cleared 1- year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed).
For filling the form visit the official site i.e. www.ctet.nic.in and enter your personal details, as mentioned in the 10th class certificate. Then, upload a photograph and signature in the JPEG format.
After uploading is done choose the payment option; whether online or through e-challan.
For offline download the e-challan and deposit the fee in Canara Bank or Syndicate Bank.
For getting the admit card visit the official site i.e. www.ctet.nic.in and click on Admit Card.
Enter the Registration Number and Password. Download and print CTET 2019 Admit Card.
Do bring an ID proof along with Admit Card.
CTET 2019 Syllabus:
– Paper1 syllabus contains Child Development and Pedagogy.
– Where it focuses on educational psychology and teaching of children aged from 6 to 11.
– Language section will contain language development, unseen passages and comprehension.
– Paper2 syllabus contains 5 sections viz., Child Development and Pedagogy of children aged from 11 to 14.
– Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics, Science and Social Science are the other four sections.
– Language 1 and Language 2 will contain questions from comprehension and language development.
