Exam Date for Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, National Eligibility Test 2021 announced
Council of Scientific and Industrial Research has announced the exam date for National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) 2021. As per the notice, the CSIR NET 2021 will be held on January 29, 2022. More details on examination will be available soon on the official website – csirnet.nta.nic.in. CSIR NET 2021 will be followed by two more rounds in 2022 itself.
The announcement about the exam date has been made through the official Twitter handle of CSIR. The tweet reads, “Update: CSIR-NET-UGC to be held on 29/1/2022. Two more rounds will be held after this in 2022. Details will follow. @HRDG_CSIR #csirnet”
Earlier, the exam was supposed to be held in July, 2021. However, it got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Usually, the exam is conducted two times in a year – June and December, separately.
CSIR NET exam is conducted for determining the eligibility of candidates for Lectureship/ Assistant Professorship and Junior Research Fellowship in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology in Colleges and Universities of the country.
