NTA reopens application window for CSIR NET 2020
National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the application window for CSIR- NET 2020. Candidates, who have not yet applied for the exam or could not complete their application process, earlier can do so online at csirnet.nta.nic.in till September 10, 2020 up to 5:00 pm and submit the application fee till 11:50 pm. The requisite fee can be paid through Credit/Debit Card/ Net Banking/UPI and PAYTM
To make corrections (if any) in the particulars and centre cities in the application form, the facility will be operational from September 11 to 17, 2020. The exam date for CSIR-NET 2020 is yet to be announced by the agency.
The official statement released by NTA reads, “In view of the representation received from many students who have not filled application form due to the changed circumstances arising out of COVID-19 and request received from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), NTA has decided to reopen the portal again for few weeks. This is also applicable to other students who have not been able to complete the application or submit the application form for CSIR- UGC NET June 2020 due to one reason or another.”
CSIR NET is conducted in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology to determine the eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS) /Assistant Professorship’ in Indian universities and colleges.
