The board has paid Rs.5 per examination day to each candidate for taking the needed steps to avoid any further spreading of Covid, and Rs. 2 per candidate per day for arranging available drinking and usable water. Besides, the CBSE board has also allotted Rs.5000 fixed.

After postponing the board examination for 2 consecutive years due to Covid, this time the CBSE board is again in the way of conducting offline board exams. JMI Entrance Exam date overlaps with CBSE exam schedule

The CBSE class 12 term 2 exam is ongoing and will end on June 15, while the Jamia Millia Islamia entrance exam is scheduled to be held on June 2, in Delhi. As many students across the country are expected to sit for JMI entrance, but travelling from their native places to Delhi, amidst the ongoing CBSE class 12 board exam, might become impossible for quite a number of students. Though Jamia Millia Islamia is a part of CUET, but for a few courses such as Bcom(honours), BA honors (Sociology), BA honors (Psychology), BA and BSc honours in Geography, the JMI authority will be admitting students through entrance exams conducted by themselves.

Students have taken over the social media accounts to earnestly request the JMI authority to change the entrance exam date in accordance with the CBSE class 12 board exam schedule.
