CTET July 2020 Exam updates expected to be released soon

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release an update regarding the CTET July 2020 examination soon. The CTET 2020 July exam is scheduled to be conducted on July 5, 2020, and the admit card for the same should have been released by now, but no updates have been released by CBSE on the official website yet. Generally admit card for CTET are released 15 days prior to the exam. 

CTET is conducted to certify the eligibility for candidates to teach Classes I to VIII at schools affiliated with CBSE. The CTET exam consists of two papers in which Paper I certifies eligibility for Class I to Class VI and Paper-II certifies the eligibility for Class VI to Class VIII. Candidates have an option to appear for either one of the papers or both the papers.

Many Competitive, SSC, UPSC exams, as well as school and university exams, were postponed amidst the COVID-19 pandemic situation around the country. CBSE had also postponed its board exams scheduled to be held between March 19 to March 31, 2020. 

Though the board has announced to hold the pending board exam from July 1 to 15, 2020, but there have been growing demands from parents to scrap the exam and award marks to students based on their Internal Assessments. The Supreme Court has also directed CBSE to take a final call on the pending board exam soon. The decision for the same is expected to be announced by Thursday i.e. June 25, 2020.
