CBSE New Academic Session 2021-22 for class 9 and 11 to begin from April 1
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a circular for Conduct of Examination for classes 9 and 11 and commencement of new academic session 2021-22. As per the circular, the board has suggested schools to conduct the final examinations of Classes 9 and 11 by following COVID-19 safety protocols and begin the new academic session from April 1, 2021.
CBSE has issued the circular as a number of schools have been seeking advice from CBSE regarding examinations for Classes 9 and 11 and about the commencement of the academic session 2021-22. The circular has been uploaded on the official website- cbse.nic.in.
The circular reads, “It would be appropriate to start the academic session 2021-22 from 1st April 2021 to the extent feasible subject to the instruction of the state government.”
“Schools should be fully geared up and prepared to welcome the students for face to face classes. This exam will also help in identifying learning gaps which could be addressed by the schools in new academic sessions at the beginning of the classes,”added in the circular.
CBSE has asked schools to make all the necessary arrangements to reopen the schools and welcome the students for face to face classes to help them to prepare for the upcoming exams. The board has also advised the teachers to focus on individual students and try to bridge learning gaps.
In the meantime, CBSE has extended the deadline for private candidates to fill class 10th, 12th board exam 2021 form. Candidates who are yet to register for the CBSE class 10th, 12th board exams 2021 can submit their forms between February 22 and 25, 2021.
The CBSE schools have been asked to function in accordance with the given guidelines.
