CBSE Class 10 and 12 Admit Card Released for Term 1 Board Exam

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the admit card/ roll number for class 10, 12 Term1Board Exam on the official websites – cbse.gov.in and cbse.nic.in along with exam guidelines. The schools will be able to download their admit cards from the official website – cbse.gov.in. Students can collect the admit card from their respective schools.

The term 1 CBSE exams for the minor papers will start from November 16 for Class 12, and for Class 10, from November 17. CBSE has scheduled the exams for the major papers of Class 10 from November 30 and for class 12 from December 1, 2021.

CBSE Term-1 examinations for both classes 10, 12 will be entirely in the form of multiple-choice questions. The duration of the examination will be 90 minutes and will cover 50 per cent of the rationalised syllabus. Students will get 20 minutes extra to read the question paper before the distribution of the answer sheet. The board will use OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheets. The board has also instructed the candidates to use only blue or black ball-point pens for filling the OMR sheets. 

The board offers 114 total subjects in Class 12 and 75 in Class 10. Out of the total 114 Class 12 subjects, 19 subjects are major subjects and the rest are minor subjects. In Class 10, out of the total 75 subjects, nine are major, while the remaining 66 subjects are minor subjects.

CBSE has also allowed students to change the exam city. The board had earlier stated that students will be allotted their own schools as their exam centres, however, those who have moved cities can apply for a change in the exam. Students will have to inform their school about a change of exam city from November 10. Schools will have to make a list of such requests received and upload it on the CBSE website latest by November 12
