Date Sheet for CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 2 Practical Exam released

 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheet for Class 10, 12 Term 2 Practical Exam 2022 on its official website. As per the schedule, the Internal examination for Class 10 and practical examination for Class 12 would begin from March 2, 2022. The guidelines for conducting the practical, internal examination have also been released. The schools are required to complete the practical examination 10 days before the end of the respective class theory examination.

 

 

As per the notice released by CBSE earlier, the Board exam for Class 10 and 12 will be conducted from April 26, 2022 in Offline mode. The examination would be in subjective mode, as per the sample papers hosted on the board’s website. The complete Date Sheet will be released in due course.

Guidelines for Conducting Practical Exams/ Internal Exams

  • For Class 10 Regular candidates, the internal examination would be conducted by the schools and the marks would be uploaded. The practical exam would also be as per the curriculum designed for Term 2. 
  • For Class 12 Regular candidates, external examiners would be assigned but the practical exams. 
  • Both Class 10 and 12 practical examinations would be conducted in the schools. All COVID protocols would be followed at the schools.
  • For the private candidates, no practical examination would be conducted. The marks would be carried forward from the result 2020-21. Private candidates are not required to appear for any practical examination. As for private candidates who appeared for the examination before 2020-21, the marks would be given on a pro-rata basis.
  • Answer books would be supplied by the regional offices and the schools to ensure that they are filled correctly. 
  • Examiners would be assigned by CBSE and schools cannot make ‘alternative arrangements’.
  • The schools would make an internal examiner as well while the board would have an Observer and an External Examiner.
  • The schools would, in consultation with the external examiner assigned, set a date for the Class 10, 12 practical exams.
