CBSE Board Exam 2019 – Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notice and directed the schools to send the attendance details of the students appearing for Class 10 or 12 Board examinations to Board.  The Board has clearly mention in the notice that the school will have to submit the attendance of a student of Class 10, 12 from the date of commencement of classes till January 01, 2019 in the enclosed format.  As per the notice, it is compulsory for the students of class 10 and 12 to maintain at least 75 per cent attendance till January 1, 2019.
 
The Board has also directed the school that, in case of shortage of attendance, schools will have to send the condonation application, the format of which is also available on the official site of CBSE to the concerned Regional Offices before January 15, 2019.

The head of the schools should submit the following along with the request –

  1. Maximum possible attendance by the student counted from the day of commencement of teaching of Classes 10, 12
  2. Attendance put in by the candidates during the aforesaid periods counted up to 1st of January 2019
  3. Percentage of attendance of the said candidate.
  4. Specific recommendations of the principal of the school.
