Registration process for CBSE Class 9 and 11 students begins, Apply Now

CBSE – Central Board of Secondary Education has begun the registration process for Class 9 and 11 for session 2021-2022 from December 15, 2021. Affiliated schools can register their students for the Class 9, 11 sessions can do so through the official site of CBSE on cbse.nic.in. Before proceeding with the registration of students, existing schools shall have to update the data on OASIS

Schools have also been instructed to use their affiliation numbers as the user ID while registering for online submission. In case there are schools that have recently been affiliated, they must get in touch with the regional offices of the Board to get their school code and password in order to proceed with the online submission of details.

CBSE has said that it is solely the school’s responsibility to submit the correct details. The affiliated schools will have to check the data submitted by students like students’ name, parents’ name, date of birth and others carefully as once the data is uploaded on registration portal, it cannot be changed. 

For the registration, the students of class 9 will be required to pay registration fees of Rs 300 and applicants from abroad will have to pay Rs 500. Class 11th students will have to pay Rs 600. A late fee of Rs 2000 will be taken after December 30, 2021 till January 7, 2022. Significantly, the CBSE will not charge any registration fee from visually impaired candidates this time.

As per the official notice, only those students whose names are submitted by respective schools through the online registration process will be allowed to appear in Class 10, 12 board exams in 2022-23.
