Exam Date for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 announced
The Indian Institute Management (IIM) Bangalore has announced the exam date for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022. As per the notification, the CAT 2022 exam will be held on November 27, 2022. Notification for the same is expected to be released on July 31, 2022 and the registration process is expected to begin in the first week of August 2022.
CAT exam is conducted by one of the IIMs on a rotational basis for admission to the Post Graduate Program in IIM’s and top B-Schools of India. IT is one of the largest MBA entrance exams conducted in India, annually. CAT scores are accepted by over 1000 B-schools across the country for admission.
The entrance exam is held through computer-based mode for a duration of 120 minutes. CAT exam comprises 66 questions divided into 3 sections:
- Section 1 – Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC),
- Section 2 – Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)
- Section 3 – Quantitative Ability (QA)
Candidates having bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any stream from a recognized institution/ university with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/Pwd categories) are eligible to apply. Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree or are waiting for the results can also apply. There is no upper or lower age limit to appear for CAT Exam
