Assam TET 2019 postponed
Assam TET 2019 postponed – Secondary Education Department of Assam has released the notification regarding the revised exam date for Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2019 due to the anti-Citizenship (Amendment) Act protest. As per the notification Assam TET 2019 will now be conducted on January 19 . Earlier, the examination was scheduled to take place on December 22, 2019.
Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2019 is conducted for the candidates who wish to teach at Lower Primary and Upper Primary level at the school of Assam state as per the guidelines laid down by NCTE
Assam TET 2019 consists of two papers – Paper I for a person who intends to be a teacher for Lower Primary level (classes I to V) and Paper-II for a person who intends to be a teacher for Upper Primary level (classes VI to VIII). The Exam will be held in five languages – Assamese, Hindi, Manipuri, Bodo, and Bengali
