The online application for the prestigious All India AYUSH Post Graduation Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2020 has begun on the official website from May 6, 2020. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is responsible for organizing this national level exam. The last date to apply for AIAPGET 2020 is June 5, 2020. The exam date is yet to be announced by the Agency.
AIAPGET is an exam which is conducted in order to grant admission into the MS, MD or PG Diploma courses in different streams of Medicine such as Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani for the upcoming academic year of 2020- 21.
In order to appear for these exams, the student should have completed BUMS, BAMS, BHMS or BSMS from any recognised University and must be pursuing or must have completed one year of internship as mandated by AYUSH or CCIM. In order to be eligible for AIAPGET, the cut off date for completing the mandatory internship is September 30, 2020.
The exam will be conducted via Computer- Based Test (CBT). The duration of this exam would be two hours with 120 questions in total. The exam will be having only one paper with each question carrying four marks. The total marks would be 480.
For Homeopathy, the question paper medium will be English, for Ayurveda it will be in Hindi and English and for Unani it will be Urdu and English. For Siddha, the medium will be English and Tamil.
