Last date to apply for Air force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2021 Extended
Indian Air Force (IAF) has extended the last date to application submission for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2021. As per the notification released, candidates can now apply for AFCAT 2021 till January 11, 2021. Interested candidates who have not yet applied for the examination can apply online through the official site: afcat.cdac.in.
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 250/- as examination fees. However, candidates registering for NCC Special entry are exempted from paying Application fee.
The IAF has also released the revised vacancies. The number of vacancies has increased to 244 from 235. Also, as per the revised vacancies notice, 2 seats are reserved from Ground Duty (Non- Tech) vacancies for law qualified candidates.

- Ground Duty (Technical) – 96
- Ground Duty (Non Technical) – 76
The facility to make corrections in an online application form for those candidates who have already applied for the exam will be available from January 18 to 21, 2021.
The selection will be done on the basis of AFCAT written examination, Officers Intelligence Rating Test & Picture Perception and Discussion test, Psychological test, and Group tests / Interview.
AFCAT is conducted for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches.
