About Osmania University

The Osmania University, established in 1918, is the seventh oldest in the country, third oldest in South India and the first to be established in the princely State of Hyderabad. The Prof. G Ram Reddy Centre For Distance Education, Osmania University (PGRRCDE) was established in the year 1977. The Centre has been named after Prof. G. Ram Reddy who was the doyen of Distance Learning in India and also the Vice Chancellor of Osmania University for two terms.The Vision of the University is to generate and disseminate knowledge through a harmonious blend of ancient and modern wisdom, and to serve the society by developing in students heightened intellectual, cultural, ethical and humane sensitivities; to foster a scientific temper, and to promote professional and technological expertise.

Eligibility Criteria

  • M.B.A.: Graduate with qualifying in TS ICET /AP ICET – 2024. or ET conducted by PGRRCDE, OU.
  • M.C.A.: Any Graduate with qualifying in TS ICET /AP ICET – 2024. or ET conducted by PGRRCDE, OU
  • M.A. (Urdu / Hindi / Telugu / Sanskrit / English): A Graduate in the concerned subject
  • M.A. (Economics / Pol. Science / History / Psychology): A Graduate in the concerned subject at U.G. level
  • M.Com.: Pass in B.Com
  • M.Sc. (Mathematics): A Graduate in the concerned subject
  • M.Sc. (Statistics): Graduate with Mathematics and Statistics
  • B.A.: Inter or 10+2 level exam Pass
  • B.A (Mathematics & Statistics): Inter or 10+2 with Mathematics as one of the optional subject
  • B.Com (General) & B.B.A.: Inter or 10+2 level exam Pass
  • PG Diploma in Mathematics, English Language Teaching, Business Management & Computer Applications: Graduate of any faculty. (3 YDC)
  • P.G. Diploma in Bioinformatics: B.Sc./ M.Sc / B.Sc.(Ag.)/B. Pharmacy / BVSc./ MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BUMS /BHMS / BE with 50% of marks

  • The prospectus-cum-application form can also be downloaded from the website www.oucde.net or www.osmania.ac.in
  • Read all instructions available on the official website regarding filling up Application forms, fees, eligibility criteria, etc carefully before filling up the application form.

 

Registration Fee

  • The candidate has to register for the course which he/she would like to pursue by paying the Registration Fee of Rs. 300/- through online. After the registration the next step is the verification of the certificates.
  • Attach the DD for admission fee which should include – Registration Fee Rs.300/- plus Admission Fee plus Admission Fee (eg. for M.Com Rs.4500/-) – Rs.4800/- to be drawn in favour of “DIRECTOR, PGRRCDE” payable at Hyderabad.
  • All the demand drafts can be taken from any Nationalised Banks payable at Hyderabad only
