NIRDPR Distance Education Admission 2024 for PG Diploma Courses – The National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRD-PR) Hyderabad invites applications from the eligible candidates for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Rural Development (PGDSRD) 16th Batch, Post Graduate Diploma in Tribal Development Management (PGDTDM) Batch-13 and Post Graduate Diploma in Geospatial Technology Applications in Rural Development (PGDGARD) Batch – 9th (2024-25) in Distance Mode for the session commencing in March 2024

  • 13th Batch – Post Graduate Diploma in Tribal Development Management (PGDTDM)
  • 9th Batch – Post Graduate Diploma in Geospatial Technology Applications in Rural Development (PGDGARD)

 

About the Program

  • NIRDPR is commencing its 16th, 13 & 9th Batch 18-month PG Diploma in Sustainable Rural Development Program, PG Diploma in Tribal Development Management, PG Diploma in Geospatial Technology Applications in Rural Development Program in Distance Mode from March 2024
  • The Programme is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)

 

Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Rural Development (PGDSRD)

  • Special Features: Self-instructional material shall be provided in soft copy only to the enrolled students. The materials include instructions for self-study and self-assessment exercises.
  • Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a UGC-recognised university. Reservation criteria will be followed as per the Government of India norms.
  • Duration: Eighteen Months
  • Medium of Instruction: English
  • Program Fee: Rs.16500/- (for Gen/OBC/EWS) & Rs. 14,850/- (for SC/ST/PWD) to be deposited online in three equal instalments at the commencement of First, Second and Third Semesters
  • Evaluation & Exams: PGDSRD Course will be offered in three semesters and will have 30 marks for the continuous evaluation through assignments and 70 marks for semester-end exams (Total 100 marks). The students will also have to undertake a Project relating to Rural Development in the third semester which will carry 200 marks.
  • Selection Criteria: Selection of candidates will be done by a selection committee duly constituted for the purpose

Post Graduate Diploma in Tribal Development Management (PGDTDM)

  • Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a UGC-recognised niversity. Reservation criteria will be followed as per the Government of India norms.
  • Duration: Eighteen Months

  • Program Fee: Rs.16500/- (for Gen/OBC/EWS) & Rs. 14,800/- (for SC/ST/PWD) to be deposited online in three equal installments at the commencement of First, Second and Third Semesters.

  • Program Fee: Rs.19,800/- (for Gen/OBC/EWS) & Rs. 16,500/- (for SC/ST/PWD), to be deposited through online in three equal instalments at the commencement of First, Second and Third Semesters
  • Evaluation & Exams: PGDGARD Course will be offered in three semesters and will have 30 marks for the continuous evaluation through assignments and 70 marks for semester-end examinations (Total 100 marks). The students will also have to undertake a Project relating to Rural Development in the third semester which will carry 200 marks.

    • The filled-in online Application accompanied by a payment gateway for Rs.500/- (for Gen/OBC/EWS) & Rs.300/- (for SC/ST/PH candidates) towards application fee along with attested copies of the required certificates as mentioned in the application form should be uploaded through online process.
    • The last date for filling the online application is 15th March, 2024.
