Mother’s day is a tribute to all the mothers. It is a celebration of motherhood.

It started in the in early 20’s. It was in the of honour Rhea, mother of Gods.

She is selfless. She sacrifices her sleep, her career and everything else just for her family.

She nurses the child without any expected returns. She is on duty for 24 hours and seven days a week.

 

A mother’s love

Most women are great mothers to their children. Women that carry their children before they are born and then continue to take care them throughout their childhood and even into adulthood. They are the ones holding their hands in times of trouble.  Mothers make sure that their children are safe and happy through their childhood. They hide them in a cocoon of love and affection unless they are ready to face the cruel world and the realities of life.

It is the unconditional love that a mother feels for her children that no other relation can match. It is hard to describe the feeling that a mom has towards her children. Most people don’t understand this love unless they are mothers themselves. Raising a child comes with a lot of frustrations, sacrificing their job and looking after the needy new born baby that needs regular care to a teenager, a mother’s job is everything but easy. She even sacrifices her sleep.

A mother is great at multitasking. She is full of energy and enthusiasm. They look after the needs of the whole family and balance her professional and personal life.

The value of Mother cannot be expressed in words. Mother’s day is celebrated worldwide to recognize the contributions that Mothers made to the lives of their Children. This year Mother’s day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May. This year Mother’s Day is on 10th May 2015.

Children celebrate mother’s day with great zeal and enthusiasm.

Some give gifts in the form of flowers, jewelry, cosmetics, and chocolates while others give handmade cards with poems written on it. Gift vouchers can also be given. The whole family can go for a movie or a picnic.

What can you do to make your mother happy ?

The above given things are all materialistic and perishable….what is not, is your love.

She loves you unconditionally to see you smile…so keep smiling always.

No matter how tough the situation is …be honest.

Never forget those bed time stories……and the lessons taught.

If she tumbles, do what she did for you…..hold her.
