The THDC Limited Engineer Trainees GATE 2018 Online registration open from 01st November and close on 31st December 2017.

Tehri Hydro Development Corporation India Limited (THDC India Ltd) is a Mini Ratna Category-I and Schedule ‘A’ Company. It develops, operate and maintain 2400 MW Tehri Hydro Energy Advanced (including 1000 MW Tehri Dam & HPP, 1000 MW Tehri Pumped Storage Plant & 400 MW Koteshwar HEP) and other Hydro Works
It recruits Graduate engineers on the basis of GATE Score every year. The recruitment for Engineer Trainees through GATE 2018 is in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering

Eligibility
A candidate applying to Engineer Trainees post should have done full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E/B. Tech/B.Sc. Engineering) in discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE. The candidate must have scored minimum 65% or equivalent
The academic qualifications required to apply for THDC recruitment through GATE 2018 is given below:
a) Engineer Trainee (Electrical): Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems & High Voltage/Power Engineering
b) Engineer Trainee (Civil): Civil Engineering (B.E/B. Tech/B.SC Engineering)
c) Engineer Trainee (Mechanical): Mechanical/Mechanical & Automation
Age Limit
Upper Age limit is 30 years for unnerved applicants (as on 31st January 2018). Age Relaxation is there for OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates according to the general government guidelines
Selection Process
Eligible candidates will have to appear for GATE-2018 February 2018 examination. The shortlisted candidates based on GATE 2018 score will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and / or Interview
Application
Eligible candidates first required to register GATE 2018 Exam Online. The GATE-2018 online registration close on 5th October 2017; after obtaining GATE 2018 Registration Number, Interested candidates have to apply online through THDC Website from 01st November 2017 to 31st December 2017
