University of Hyderabad announces Admission to PG Diploma Program 2020  through Distance Mode

University of Hyderabad Distance Education PG Diploma Admission 2020 - University of Hyderabad, Centre for Distance and Virtual Learning invites applications from eligible graduate candidates for admission to the following Post Graduate Diploma Programs of one-year duration offered through Distance Education mode for the year 2020.

As of now the university is offering a total of 16 postgraduate courses through distance learning. All these courses are basically diploma courses and eligible candidates can apply for admission before January 2020.

Eligibility Criteria for University of Hyderabad Distance Education PG Diploma Admission 2020


Any graduate from a recognized University


Graduate in Library Science from a recognized University


Any graduate with Chemistry or B.Pharmacy as one of the subjects from a recognized University.


Post Graduate or any graduate from a recognized University with 2 years experience


Engineering graduates from a recognized university in ECE/EEE/EIE/ETC/ICT branches and other engineering graduate with Electronics as one of the subjects.

M.Sc Electronics / AMIE from a recognised University.

Other Engineering or B.Sc graduates with Electronics/Physics/Maths/ Computer Science as one of the subjects from a recognised university with 2 years of experience in the field of Telecommunications.

However, a Diploma in ECE/EEE is counted on par with Two years of Experience.


Any graduate from Health, Medical, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (OR)

Any other graduates with 2 years demonstrated experience in Health Care Sector.


Selection Procedure

Intimation of Selection

The candidates selected for admission will be intimated individually under certificate of posting and also through the email (addresses if provided to the CDVL office).


Reservations for SC/ST/OBC Students

The reservation will be provided to the SC/ST/OBC students as per the norms and policy of Government Of India, and the guidelines of the University Grants Commission. Students who are seeking the reservation must make sure they have all the certificates, documents which prove the demand for reservation.

Reservations for Physically Challenged (PC) Students

The 3% of admissions for each course are reserved for physically challenged students with the minimum degree of disability to the extent of forty percent, provided that their physical disability does not hamper the pursuit of the course. The physically handicapped student will be required to submit the certificate attested by the authorities. If the university wants then the student may have to go through the fresh medical test.


Admission Process

Candidates are issued Provisional admission letter on the basis of the fulfilment of eligibility criteria.

Candidates are considered admitted on the basis of the payment of the fees. However, only the receipt of admission offer letter does not entitle any right to claim admission.

Candidates should provide the full information with proof, by attaching Attested Xerox Copies of marks sheets Provisional certificate and other relevant academic/ professional records. The verification of the certificates is done at the time of contact classes on the campus.

Therefore, candidates are required to bring their original certificates when they attend contact classes.

Students will be permitted to appear for the term-end examination only after the verification of relevant original certificates until then their admission will be provisional.

Candidates are required to obtain an application form from the official website https://www.uohyd.ac.in, download and fill it, and send it to the concerned office address of the University.

For online registration www.cde.uohyd.ac.in and also Prospectus-cum-Application 2020 can be downloaded from the University Website www.uohyd.ac.in

Duly filled application along with e-receipt for Rs.300/- through online payment towards Registration Fee, may be sent to the "Section Officer, CDVL Gloden.
