Registration Date for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2022 extended for Class 9 Admission
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has extended the registration deadline for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2022 for class 9 admission. As per the notification candidates can now apply for JNVST Class 9 Selection test till November 15, 2021. Earlier the last date to apply was October 31, 2021.
JNVST 2022 for class 9 is scheduled to be held on April 9, 2022. Candidates can find more details on navodaya.gov.in.
Steps to Apply for JNVST 2022 for Class 9
- Go to the official website-navodaya.gov.in.
- Click on the notification that reads, “CLICK HERE TO SUBMIT ONLINE APPLICATION FORM FOR CLASS IX LATERAL ENTRY SELECTION TEST 2022. THE LAST DATE TO APPLY IS 15.11.2021.”
- A new window would open up. Candidates should note that they have to first register and then fill the application form by logging in with their user’s name and password.
Candidate studying in Class-VIII during the academic session 2021-22 in one of the government or Government recognized schools of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning and where admission is sought, are eligible to apply. Candidates must be born between May 1, 2006 and April 30, 2010 (both days inclusive) to be eligible for appearing for JNVST 2022 for Class 9 admission
At present, there are 661 Vidyalayas sanctioned in 27 States and 08 Union Territories.
The JNV selection test for Class 9 will be of two hours and 30 minutes duration and will have 4 sections with 100 objective type questions. The four sections are English, Hindi, Mathematics and Science. The selection test will be conducted in English and Hindi
