Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the list of candidates whose Civil Services Prelims Exam 2020 applications have been rejected due to nonpayment of the registration fee. As per the notification 51 candidates application has been rejected by the commission.
As per the notice released, candidates can make an appeal against the rejection within 10 days along with the documentary evidence (hard copy in original) by speed post or by hand. The appeal should be received in the commission’s office latest by March 19, 2020.
Steps to Check List of Rejected Applications
- Log on to the official website upsc.gov.in.
- On the homepage click on the link which says, “Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2020 Fictitious Fee.
- A PDF file with names of candidates, registration id and traction id will be displayed on your screen.
- Download it and take print out of the same for future reference.
UPSC Civil Services 2020 IAS/IFS Exam is scheduled to be held on May 31, 2020. The Admit card for the same will be released 3 weeks before the commencement of the exam.
