Establishment
Karpagam Charity Trust promoted by the philanthropist Dr.R.Vasanthakumar in the year 1989, had its corpus from the roots of Karpagam Industries. 10% of the net profits of the Industrial groups was contributed towards the corpus. With the available corpus, Karpagam Arts and Science College was established in September 1995.
