Establishment

Bharati Vidyapeeth University started functioning in April, 1996 after receiving communication from the Government of India granting of status of ‘University’ under section of the UGC Act, 1996 to a cluster of institutions of Bharati Vidyapeeth, which is a parent organization of this University.

The University is a member of Association of Indian Universities and the Association of Commonwealth Universities. It is really creditable for this nascent University to have received ‘A’ Grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council for itself and for all its constituent units. Some of the constituent units of the University also have been accredited with ‘A’ Grade by the National Board of Accreditation.
