CBSE launched Online Training Course ‘Experiential Learning’ for Teacher on Diksha Platform

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), with an aim to train teachers in a new method of learning, has launched an interactive online course on ‘Experiential Learning’ on the Diksha Platform.  The course was launched by HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on Wednesday. 

The course has been developed by CBSE in association with Tata Trust. As per the CBSE official circular, the course has to be taken mandatorily by all teachers and school leaders including Principals. 

Minister of Human Resource Development (HRD) while announcing the course has written on twitter that “When our teachers are equipped with 21st-century skills, it becomes easier for our children to absorb and learn those competencies.”

“I would request them all to join this incredible course. Let’s strive to make the learning process for our students more joyful, reflective, and multidisciplinary,” he added further

The course is available on Diksha App, to enroll for the course teachers will be required to download the app and sign-in through their accounts.

In order to join the free of cost online teacher training course, the teachers have to follow the below mentioned steps:

  • Step1: Download the DIKSHA App on an Android smartphone by clicking on the link: http://bit.ly/cbse-diksha.
  • Step 2: Sign in using the existing DIKSHA account OR Sign in via google OR register on DIKSHA using email id or mobile number.
  • Step 3: Scan the QR code using DIKSHA mobile application; OR
  • Click on the links to open the course on DIKSHA mobile application or desktop/laptop web browser: https://bit.ly/cbse-explrn-wb.

On completion of course, they will be awarded a certificate. CBSE will also conduct regional webinars for the hub leaders or lead collaborators in the same.
