No CBSE Board Exams till February 2021, dates exam dates yet to be decided

On live online interaction with teachers and other stakeholders on Tuesday, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said that the CBSE Board exam 2021 will not be held till February and that more discussion is needed to fix the CBSE board exam 2021 dates.

Mr Pokhriyal tweeted, “I received a lot of requests from students and teachers to postpone CBSE board exams for Class 10 and 12. Keeping the COVID-19 pandemic in mind, we have decided that board exams will not be held in February. Dates would be announced soon.” 

He also spoke on syllabus reduction in board exams. The live discussion was held to interact with teachers on the topic of board exams 2021.

He also said that majority of people want the board exams to take place and not be cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic

Minister Pokhriyal had said in an earlier webinar that the CBSE board exams 2021 would be held in the written mode despite the pandemic. He had also said that the number of exam centres might be increased to accommodate students along with social distancing.

Students and parents both were confused about the board exam situation as no date has been decided for the start of the CBSE board exams 2021.
