IGNOU MSc Dietetics & Food Service Management (DFSM) 2018
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) offers admission to M.Sc. (Dietetics and Food Services Management) (MSCDFSM) in both January and July academic cycles
The discipline has been developed by the School of Continuing Education (SOCE), IGNOU. On successful completion of 30 credit course work and three months internship programme (16 credits) the students will be awarded with Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics and Public Nutrition (PGDDPN) and they may leave the program if desires
All eligible candidates can apply for IGNOU admissions 2018 latest till 31st December 2017. 31st January, 2018
Program Objective
The M.Sc. in Dietetics and Food Service Management Programme has been introduced in the university curriculum with an objective to provide an opportunity for the learners to pursue higher education in the field of food services and dietetics
After completing this master degree, their knowledge and skills will be enhanced and they will be able to enter into the business market as an entrepreneur and/or may be start their own food service unit

Eligibility
B.Sc. (Home Science) specialization in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition or PG Diploma in Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition or its equivalent; or
Graduate (B.Sc.) or equivalent (MBBS,BHS etc) from the following background – Home Science /Food Science and Technology, Science, Health Care, Medical, Pharmaceutical Catering alongwith the DNHE or CNCC or CFN offered by IGNOU (Simultaneous admission for CFN/CNCC is also permitted)
