Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) of Kurukshetra University has released notification for admission to the various UG, PG and Certificate Courses for the academic year 2017-18

Applications on the prescribed proforma are invited from eligible persons for admission to the following courses offered through distance mode:

Eligibility Criteria

International students should fulfill the minimum eligibility condition prescribed for admission as per the requirements of the course applied for. However, such candidates shall NOT be required to undergo the admission entrance test.

Offline Mode: Download Admission-cum-Examination Form (Form-A to C) from DDE Website www.ddekuk.ac.in


Fill up the Form and attach 4 Photocopies of Form-A duly filled-in & self-attested and pasted photographs on all forms with Original Form (A to C) along with a Demand Draft (should be made in favour of Registrar, Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra) of the requisite fee of the course including processing fee of Rs.600/- (Rs.150/- for SC/BC/EBPG/Blind candidates of Haryana state only) and send the same along with all the required documents to the mailing address given below


Online Mode: Fill up the Admission Form online on the DDE Website www.ddekuk.ac.in by creating your own login ID and after submitting on Website, the Printout of all the Forms duly self-attested and pasted photographs on all appropriate places should be sent at the mailing address given below within 10 days from the date of applying Online



All the courses offered by the Directorate are duly recognized by the Distance Education Bureau, UGC New Delhi. The B.Ed. Course is also recognized by the statutory body i.e. NCTE. Recognition letters are available on DDE Website

Last Date for Receipt of Admission-cum-Exam Form complete in all respects without Late Fee for all the Courses: 29th September 2017


Last Date for Receipt of Admission Form (from A-C) with Fee in the Directorate upto:


(a) Without Late Fee: 29th September 2017 (Friday)


(b) With Late Fee of Rs.500/-: 30th November 2017 (Thursday)


(c) With Late Fee of Rs. 1000/- (+ Usual Exam Late Fee, if any): 29th December 2017 (Friday)


(d) (i) With late fee of Rs.4000/- (for BA, B.Com., BCA, CCA, CCU, D.Lib. Sc., B.Ed and B.Lib. Sc. (ii) With late fee of Rs. 3000/-* (For all Master Degrees and All P.G. Diplomas): 01st Aug to 31st January 2018


e) With Late Fee of Rs.8000/-* (For UG & PG Courses): 01st Feb 2018 to 28th February 2018


(f) With Late Fee of Rs.8500/-* (For UG & PG Courses) (includes Late Exam Fee): 01st March to 30th March 2018


Last Date for Receipt of 2nd Installment of Fee:


(i) B.A., B.Com., BCA, CCA, CCU, D.Lib. Sc. 29th December 2017 (Friday)


(ii) B.Ed., B.Lib. Sc., All Master Degrees and All PG Diplomas: 31st January 2018


Late Fee for payment of 2nd installment of fee after due dates Rs.1000/-


Late Fee on Examination Forms:

The candidates who will take admission after 11th December 2017 will be charged late examination fee as under.


(i) B.A., B.Com., BCA., CCA., CCU., D.Lib., Sc.* 12th December 2017 to 20th December 2017 - Rs.500/-; 21st December to 31st December 2017 - Rs.1000/-


(ii) B.Ed., B.Lib.Sc, All Master Degrees and All PG Diplomas 12th December 2017 to 31st December 2017 - Rs.500/-


Price Details


For General Category: (i) Rs.600/- at KUK Counter; (ii) Rs.650/- by Regd./Speed Post; (iii) Rs.500/- if admission is Online


For SC/BC/Blind Candidates of Haryana Only: (i) Rs.150/- at KUK Counter; (ii) Rs.200/- by Regd./Speed Post; (iii) Rs.125/- If admission is Online
