AME CET 2019 - Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test (AME CET) 2019 is the National Level Entrance Test conducted to offer admission in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course in some of the leading institutes approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India.

AME CET 2019

  • AME CET 2019 is the national level Common AME Entrance Exam to offer admission in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course in some of the leading institutes approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt of India.
  • The AME Entrance Exam are of the objective pattern and in Hindi & English medium. On the basis of AME CET 2019 common merit students participate in counselling and confirm their admission in government approved AME institutions in India.
  • All AME institutes are approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India.

 

AME CET 2019 Important Dates

  • Availability of Application Form: 15th November 2018
  • Last Date for Application Form: 15th March 2019
  • Download of Admit Card: 18th April 2019
  • AME CET 2019 Exam: 05th May 2019
  • Date of Result: 3rd week of May 2019
  • Admission Counselling: Last week of May 2019

 

AME CET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must have either passed 10+2 or is appearing in 2019 with non-medical stream or equivalent AICTE approved 3 years engineering diploma or any higher qualification in science with Physics and Mathematics.
  • A candidate possessing three years Diploma in any stream recognized by Central / State Govt., is also eligible AME Entrance Exam 2019.
  • All candidates who are eligible for admission in B. Tech. Courses are also eligible for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) Course.
  • Candidate age must not be less than 16 years at the time of admission in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course.
  • The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at AME CET 2019 shall be limited to 03 (three).

AME CET 2019 Exam Pattern

  • AME CET 2019 consists of 90 MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions). The questions will be asked from subjects as Physics, Chemistry Mathematics, English and General Awareness. AME CET 2019 question papers will be in both Hindi and English medium, but in case of any ambiguity, the English version shall be considered final.
  • AME Entrance Exam will be held in online as well as offline mode.
  • There is negative marking for incorrect answers. 4 marks are awarded for correct answers and 1 mark is deducted for incorrect answers.

  • General Awareness: 15 Questions & 60 Marks
  • English: 15 Questions & 60 Marks
  • Mathematics: 20 Questions & 80 Marks
  • Physics: 20 Questions & 80 Marks
  • Chemistry: 20 Questions & 80 Marks
  • Total: 90 Questions & 360 Marks

Exam Pattern for 3 Years Engineering Diploma Holders /B. Tech/ Any higher qualification in science with Physics and Mathematics

  • General Awareness: 15 Questions & 60 Marks
  • English: 15 Questions & 60 Marks
  • Aptitude Test: 60 Questions & 240 Marks
  • Total: 90 Questions & 240 Marks

Examination Schedule

  • AME CET 2019 exam will be conducted on 05th May 2019.
  • Offline and Online will be conducted on same day.
  • AME CET 2019 exam will be of 1 Hour 30 minutes.

Examination Fee for AME CET 2019

  • The AME Entrance Examination Fee for AME CET 2019 is Rs. 1000/- for Male/Transgender candidates of General and OBC category.
  • Rs.800/- for Female candidates/ Physically Handicapped candidates of all categories and SC/ST candidates.

Mode of Payment

  • Offline form is available at authorized centers, by paying Rs.1000/- or Rs.800/- student depend on their category.
  • The examination fee has to be submitted Online through Credit/debit Card/ Net Banking while submitting the Online Application.
  • Please note that the bank may additionally charge service charges plus applicable taxes while making the payment through Credit/Debit card/ Net-Banking.

Online Mode

  • Here applicant has to fill basic information with photographs.
  • The Entrance Examination Fee for AME CET 2019 is Rs. 1000/- for Male/Transgender candidates of General and OBC category.
  • Rs.800/- for Female candidates/ Physically Handicapped candidates of all categories and SC/ST candidates. After successful payment candidate will receive Congratulation Message with Registration Number on given mobile and given email.
  • This Registration Number will be the reference number for further communication with AME CET.

Offline Mode

  • Applicants can also fill the AME CET 2019 for offline. For that they have to visit AME CET approved centers and have to purchase AME CET 2019 form after paying Registration fees. Candidates can check the concise steps to fill the application form below.
  • Applicant has to fill basic information and paste a passport size photographs.
  • After filling the form student has to send form at following address.
