Maharashtra MAH BA BSc - B.Ed CET 2018 Notification- Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test, Cell Competent Authority shall conduct the BA /BSc - B.Ed CET-2018 for the admission to the First Year of the Four Year Full Time Integrated Course leading to BA/Bsc – B.Ed Integrated Degree Course for the Academic Year 2018-19

  • The Online applications are invited for CET for admission to First Year of Four Year Full Time Regular Integrated Course BA/Bsc – B.Ed in the Govt.- Aided, Govt. - Aided Minority, University Managed, and Unaided & Unaided Minority Institutions in the Maharashtra State
  • MAH- B.A./B.Sc.-B.Ed -CET 2018 shall be conducted only in the ONLINE mode in multiple sessions if required by Competent Authority, using standardized equipercentile method, will be equating scores across sessions.
  • The admissions to the following institutes will be done by the Competent Authority, provided they are approved and recognized by Government of Maharashtra and are Affiliated to any of the Non-agricultural University in the State of Maharashtra State :
    • The Government College of Education offering MAH-B.A./B.Sc.-B.Ed. Integrated CET 2018,
    • All Government Aided Colleges (including Aided Minority Institutions) offering MAHB.A./B.Sc.-B.Ed. Integrated CET 2018
    • All University Managed Institutes offering MAH-B.A./B.Sc.-B.Ed. Integrated CET 2018
    • All Un-aided colleges (including Minority Institutions) offering MAH-B.A./B.Sc.-B.Ed. Integrated CET 2018, covered as per the Act.

 

Important Dates

  • Online Registration for MAH- BA/Bsc – B.Ed CET-2018 Confirmation of Application form on Website -: 11th May – 11th June 2018
  • Last Date to Apply: 11th June 2018
  • Issue of Hall Ticket through login of successfully registered candidates: 25th June 2018 onwards
  • Date of Online MAH- BA/Bsc – B.Ed CET 2018: 7th July 2018 (Saturday)
  • Declaration of CET Result: 16th July 2018

  

Eligibility

Candidate should be Indian National.

  • Candidates with Minimum 50% Marks in Senior/Higher Secondary/+2 Level (HSC) or its Equivalent Examination from Science Stream/Discipline and/ or From Arts Stream/Discipline with Social Science including (History /Geography / Economics / Political Sciences / Psychology / Philosophy / Education /Library) and Humanity Sciences=Languages (including Indian, Modern and Classical Languages and Literature*) studied as First Language and or Optional/ Core/Literature Subject at HSC or equivalent level and belonging to Open/General Category OR
  • Candidates with Minimum 45% Marks in Senior Secondary/+2 Level (HSC) or its Equivalent examination from Science Stream/Discipline and/ or From Arts Stream/Discipline with Social Science including (History /Geography / Economics / Political Sciences / Psychology / Philosophy / Education /Library) and Humanity Sciences=Languages (including Indian, Modern and Classical Languages and Literature*) studied as First Language and or Optional/Core/Literature Subject at HSC or equivalent level, in case of SC,ST, DT-VJ, NT-1,N.T.-2, NT-3, OBC, SBC category candidates belonging to the State of Maharashtra OR
  • Candidates from Outside Maharashtra State/Jammu & Kashmir Migrant Candidates belonging to all Categories will be considered as Open Candidate and eligibility of Open Category Candidate will be applicable to them, OR
  • Candidates who have appeared for Senior Secondary/+2 Level (HSC) or its equivalent Examination held in the Month of February/March 2018 will also be eligible to apply for this course. But they will be considered eligible for Admission if they secure Minimum % of Marks required as mentioned in a), b), c) above.

Age Criteria

  • There is no upper age limit for admission to MAH- B.A./B.Sc.-B.Ed. Integrated CET 2018 in the Academic Year 2018-2019.
  • Age will be calculated as on 1st July 2018

Schedule:

  • MAH-B.A./B.Sc.-B.Ed. Integrated CET 2018 for Admission to English Medium Colleges shall be conducted only in the Online Mode in Multiple Sessions, if required in selected Centers in the State of Maharashtra.
  • MAH- B.A./B.Sc.-B.Ed. Integrated CET 2018 will be conducted on Saturday 07th July 2018 .
  • Candidates shall have to appear for the Online CET strictly as per the date and session allotted to them at the allotted Venue and Center. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the Test in other than the allotted Session. No request for Centre, Venue and Session change will be entertained.

 

Exam Fees

  • Application Form Processing Fees as stated below is to be paid through online system only by Internet Payment, Credit Card/ Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro),Internet Banking, IMPS; Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets for which the service charges, as per rules, shall be applicable in addition to the application form Processing Fees
  • No other mode of payment shall be permitted
  • The fees is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances
  • For all Candidates from Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), Open Category candidates from Maharashtra State and J&K Migrant candidates - Rs. 800/-*
  • For Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State of BC (SC, ST, VJ/DT(A), NT-1 (-B) NT-2 (-C), NT-3(-D), OBC/SBC Categories - Rs.400/-*

  • Applicants to visit DHE’s website www.dhepune.gov.in/ www.mahacet.org/ and open the given link. For filling the Online Application Form, they should click on the option "APPLY ONLINE" which will open a new screen
  • In order to appear for MAH BA BSc - B.Ed CET 2018, the candidates are required to apply On-Line as per the detailed procedure/guidelines given below:
  • Before applying online, applicants should:
    • Go through the Information Brochure made available to them online and check for Eligibility criteria. Scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph and signature adhere to the required specifications as given under Guideline for Photograph and Signature Scan and Upload
    • Have a valid e-mail ID and Mobile No., which should be kept active till the completion of this Admission Process

Hall Ticket

  • The candidates will have to visit the www.dhepune.gov.in or www.mahacet.org website for downloading Hall Ticket for online Test
  • Intimations for downloading Hall Ticket will also be sent through Email/SMS
  • Candidates should keep their Emails and Mobile Phones active during the entire admission process. Candidates having Do Not Disturb mode active may not get SMS alerts

  

Test Centers

  • MAH-B.A./B.Sc.-B.Ed. Integrated CET 2018 will be conducted in the Selected Cities in Maharashtra in the University Area where this course is being conducted
  • The cities in which MAH- B.A./B.Sc.-B.Ed. Integrated CET 2018 for the Candidates who have opted for that will be conducted are designated as “Centers” for the CET.

Syllabus and Marking Scheme for MAH-BP.Ed. CET 2018
The Online CET is comprising of one paper with three sections:
General Knowledge - 15 No. of Questions; 01 Marks Questions; and 15 Total Marks
Mental Ability - 15 No. of Questions; 01 Marks Questions; and 15 Total Marks
Teacher Aptitude - 20 No. of Questions; 01 Marks Questions; and 20 Total Marks
Total - 50 No. of Questions; 1 per Question; and 50 Total Marks
The questions will be objective Multiple-Choice Questions with Four options
There is no Negative Marking
The time allotted is One Hour Sixty Minutes
Medium of Test will be English, Marathi and Hindi


Contents of the Sections

  • General Knowledge (40 Marks):- i) Basic General Knowledge (a) Books and Authors (b) Awards and Honours (c) Important National Days. (d) Persons in News (e) Important Current Events. ii) Science and Technology: (a) General Science (up to SSC Level) (b) Various Inventions  (c) Technology. iii) History (up to SSC Level) iv) Geography (up to SSC Level) vi) Indian Civics and Economics (up to SSC Level) vii) Indian Constitution with reference to Education.
  • Mental Ability (30 Marks):- This section aims to judge the reasoning power and accuracy in Thinking. This section will cover the areas like: i) Reasoning Ability ii) Statements and Conclusions iii) Letter and Number Series iv) Analogy vi) Odd Man Out vi) Numerical Ability vii) Logical Problems viii) Coding- Decoding.
  • Teaching Aptitude (30 Marks):- Teaching aptitude will cover the areas like i) Attitude towards Education, Students and Teaching Profession ii) Leadership Qualities iii) Emotional and Social Adjustment iv) Intra-personal relations and Intra-personal skills. v)General awareness and Interest in Teaching.
