NISER announces Exam date for National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2022
National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai has announced the exam date for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2022. As per the notification released, the examination is scheduled to be held on June 18, 2022. The date for the application process for the same will be intimated soon on the official website.
The notification on the official website reads, “To be announced shortly” against these corresponding events.
NEST is an entrance exam that is held for admission to the five-year integrated M.Sc program in biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and the department of atomic energy centre for excellence in basic science, University of Mumbai. Candidates with at least 60 per cent marks in class 12 or equivalent are eligible to apply for the exam
NEST is a computer-based test (CBT) consisting of multiple-choice questions. The question paper will consist of 5 (five) sections of objective type questions. The syllabus for NEST 2022 primarily follows the NCERT/CBSE science syllabus of class XI–XII.
