Registration deadline for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021 extended
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has extended the registration deadline for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021. As per the notice, the last date to apply for CAT 2021 has been extended to September 22 (by 5 pm). Earlier the last date for CAT 2021 registration was September 15, 2021.
Candidates who are interested to appear for CAT 2021 can visit the official website – iimcat.ac.in. to register for the examination.
The entrance test for admissions in IIMs and other prestigious MBA colleges will be held on November 28, 2021 in three sessions. The candidates will be able to download the admit cards from October 27 onwards till November 28.
Steps to register for CAT 2021
- Visit the official website: iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on the CAT 2021 link available on the home page.
- Enter the registration or login details.
- Fill in the application form and pay the application fees.
IIM Ahmedabad has introduced changes in eligibility criteria this year. As per the revised eligibility criteria, candidates with “promotion/pass” instead of “award of marks” certificates in any of the last two years of the bachelor’s program can enter the “promotion or pass” option in the application form. This will allow the applicant to complete and submit the CAT 2021 application form. This eligibility relaxation is also applicable to those final year students with an “award” of marks.
This exception is available only for those applicants who will be completing the bachelor’s degree this year or are in the final year of the bachelor’s program.
