University of Lucknow postponed UP B.Ed Entrance Exam 2021
The University of Lucknow has postponed the UP B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination 2021 to a later date due to increase in the COVID-19 cases in the country. The examination was scheduled to be held on May 19, 2021. The decision on the revised date will be taken in due course of time.
The official statement reads, “An online meeting of the Advisory Committee of JEE B.Ed. 2021 was held on April 13, 2021. It was resolved that due to the current situation of COVID in the country, the entrance test scheduled for May 19, 2021, has been postponed. The new revised date of the entrance test will be declared later. Applicants are advised to keep visiting the University of Lucknow website (www.lkouniv.ac.in) regularly for updates”.
As per the data released by the varsity, a total of 691610 candidates have registered for the exam. Candidates who will clear UP B.Ed Exam 2021 will get admission to over 2500 Bed colleges across the state.
