VLSI Full Form
The Full form of VLSI is Very Large Scale Integration. VLSI is the process by which integrated circuits (ICs) are created by combining thousands of transistors into a single chip. It’s used in creating so many chips and circuits on a single mini chip of silicon. VLSI began when complex semiconductor and communication technologies were being developed in the 1970s. The microprocessor is a VLSI device. Most Integrated Circuits had a limited set of functions they could perform before the introduction of VLSI technology. An electronic circuit might consist of a CPU, ROM, RAM and other glue logic. VLSI lets IC designers add all of these into one chip.
