What the NEET UG Round 3 Result Covers

Round 3 allots seats under the 15% All India Quota and 100% of seats in deemed universities, central universities, AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER (Puducherry and Karaikal). It covers MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing. Before the round, MCC published lists of newly added MBBS and BDS seats, plus clear and virtual vacancies, so the seat pool was larger than what the earlier rounds left behind.

This is the last regular round. After it, only the online stray vacancy round remains in MCC’s AIQ schedule.

How to Check Your Round 3 Allotment

  1. Go to mcc.nic.in and open the UG Medical section.
  2. Under “Current Events,” open “Final Allotment result for UG Round 3 Counselling.” It is a large PDF (about 9 MB).
  3. Search the PDF for your NEET UG roll number with Ctrl+F.
  4. Log in to the MCC candidate portal to download your provisional allotment letter.

Your allotment letter is the document the college will ask for at reporting. Print two copies and keep a PDF on your phone.

Reporting Deadline: What to Do Before October 9

Report physically to your allotted college by October 9, 2026, with your allotment letter and original documents. Colleges verify joined candidates on October 10, so there is no slack built in after the deadline.

Carry the documents listed in MCC’s UG Counselling 2026 Information Bulletin. These usually include your NEET UG admit card and scorecard, Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and certificates, a photo ID, passport-size photos, and a category certificate if you claimed a reservation. Check the bulletin yourself rather than relying on a generic list, because a missing paper can delay admission.

Rules for exit, seat resignation and security deposit refunds tighten in the final rounds. Read the relevant section of the bulletin before you decide not to join a seat allotted in Round 3.

Stray Vacancy Round: Who Should Watch It

The stray vacancy round fills seats still empty after Round 3. Registration opens on October 12 and closes at 3:00 PM on October 14, 2026, with payment open until 6:00 PM that day.

If you did not get a seat in any round, this is your last chance at an MCC-conducted AIQ or deemed university seat this year. Seats in this round are usually few and often in deemed universities with higher fees, so check fee structures before you fill choices. Eligibility rules for the stray round are set out in the information bulletin; confirm that you qualify before paying.
