Character Sketch of Macavity

A clever, cunning, and elusive master criminal defying all human laws, and escaping every effort to capture him, Macavity displays the cunning mind and “Napoleon of Crime” level intellect needed to create all levels of mischief without any foreknowledge of it showing up in his next scheme. Macavity disappears from the scene before anyone shows up to see him, leaving all sorts of confusion, doubt, and head-scratching nonsense for the authorities.

Macavity is witty, advanced-thinking, and confident; only cats can deliver that level of refreshingly pure confidence to even outsmart Scotland Yard, Fruit Squad, and the Flying Squad. He possesses human intelligence levels and can inspire awe or fear in people who may only have heard of him. Macavity is lean, long-legged and sometimes lanky, giving him a mysterious aura that comes with a character built up over time.

He only comes across as a mysterious ‘character’ to us, because he is a mysterious character of incredible intelligence and creativity, backed up by the ideals of rebellion, independence and genius. Macavity will always stand out, like a hot air balloon moving over the Greater Toronto Area. Becoming a character everyone wants to remind themselves and fellow readers about, distinctly, and read again!
