DU SOL Distance BA B.Com Admission 2020 – School of Open Learning, Delhi University admission has released the notification for admission to the Undergraduate BA, B.Com. for the academic session 2020-21 starting from August 2020. Candidates can start submitting their Application from 1st week of June 2020.

SOL DU Distance Education BA B.Com Admission 2020 Important Dates

  • Starting UG admission online: 1st week of June 2020
  • Last Date of Admission without Late Fee: 4th week of July 2020
  • Last Date of Admission with Late Fee of Rs.100/-:1st week of August 2020
  • Last Date of Admission with Late Fee of Rs.200/-: 4th week of August 2020

 

Eligibility Criteria SOL DU Distance Education BA B.Com Admission 2020

B.A. (Program) & B.Com

  • Minimum Eligibility Criteria: Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto (OR)
  • Pre-University Examination (2 years after ten years schooling) of an Indian University recognized by University of Delhi (OR)
  • Intermediate Examination of an Indian University/ Board or an examination recognized as equivalent there to
  • Specific Recruitments: Passed with 40% or above in any of the examinations

B.A. (Hons) – Program, English

  • Minimum Eligibility Criteria: At least 60% marks in aggregate in the Senior School Certificate Examination, Conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (OR)
  • An examination recognized as equivalent to the above
  • Specific Recruitments: Candidates securing 70% marks in the English Core Language in Class XII and 60% in aggregate will be eligible for direct admission (OR)
  • Candidates securing 60% marks in English Elective and 60% in aggregate will be eligible for direct admission
  • Provided that the candidate has qualified as per the above criteria in the paper of English carrying a minimum weight of 100 marks in Class XII

B.A (Hons) – Program, Political Science

  • Minimum Eligibility Criteria: At least 45% in the aggregate with Political Science in any of the examinations recognized by the University of Delhi
  • Specific Recruitments: Candidates securing 60% marks in the aggregate without Political Science in Class XII will be eligible for direct admission in Political Science (Honours) First Year
  • Candidates securing 45% in aggregate with Political Science as one of their subjects will be eligible for direct admission

B.Com (Hons)

  • Minimum Eligibility Criteria: 55% in Aggregate, or 60% Aggregate of vocational/technical stream with commerce
  • Specific Recruitments: The number of seats in Business Data Processing (Subsidiary) for B.Com (Honours) is limited and admission will be on the basis of merit
  • Note: Students who wish to seek admission to an undergraduate course, where a particular subject or a group of subjects is required for admission; such students must have passed in the subject/subjects concerned separately for purpose of admission to such course

B.com. Honours Optional Computer – Paper VI C

  • Practical Paper VI C: Option will be given on the basis of Merit. This paper may be allowed or may not be allowed without practical

Note:

  • SC/ST – Minimum passing marks in any one the qualifying examination
  • OBC – 10% of minimum eligibility marks prescribed for the General Category students
  • PWD – 5% relaxation in minimum eligibility marks prescribed for the General Category students

  • Students are required to make an application for admission to the courses offered by the School in the prescribed Enrolment-Cum-Admission Form. Students are advised to carefully study the instructions given below prior to filling up the form to ensure that all options are correctly chosen by them
  • The said form can be downloaded from the website i.e. https://sol.du.ac.in
  • Instructions for filling the Admission Form for the eligible candidate for SOL
  • The Candidate should read the following instructions carefully before filling up the admission forms for B.A. and B.Com Courses. Application for admission should be filled in by the applicant in his/her own handwriting in English only
  • The name and its spellings filled in the form for admission should be the same as given in the certificate of the last examination passed, i.e. B.A./B.Com exam or an exam equivalent thereto Students residing in Delhi – Bank Draft drawn on State Bank of India payable at Service Branch/any Nationalized Bank New Delhi
  • Students residing outside Delhi-Bank draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank payable at New Delhi branch of the Bank
