Sher-e-Kashmir University announces MBA (Agri Business Mgt.) Admission 2019

Sher-e-Kashmir University Jammu MBA in Agri-Business Management 2019 – Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission to MBA (Agri-Business Management) Programme of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu for the 1st Semester of the academic session 2019-20.

 

About the MBA Program

  1. The MBA (Agri-Business Management) is a 2-years full time degree program spread for four semesters
  2. During the first year the Program undertakes the teaching on core courses Agribusiness Environment, Mgt. & Organizational Behaviour, Managerial Economics, Accounting, Production & Operation Mgt., Human Resource Mgt., Marketing Mgt. Comm. of Mgt. & Business, Research Methodologies in Business Mgt., Business Laws & Ethics, Financial Mgt., International Trade & Mgt. Information System besides summer Internship/industrial attachment are planned for improvement of the managerial capacity through practical approach having exposure to application of knowledge with the output of preparing the report

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates must have B.Sc. Ag. /B.V.Sc & AH /B. Tech Agril. Engineering/ B.Sc. Horticulture / B.Sc. Dairying / B.Sc. Forestry / B.Sc. Fisheries with 60% or equivalent OGPA or any other graduate degree with 60% marks (or);
  2. Any other graduate degree with 60% marks

 

Selection Procedure

  1. A multistage selection procedure is followed for admission as described below:
  2. All applicants fulfilling eligibility criteria are supposed to submit the CAT/CMAT/MAT score card before the last date as and when admission notification is issued by the university
  3. Merit list is generated for calling candidates for group discussion, personal interview etc. by adding the diversity factor

Applications on the prescribed format complete in all respects accompanied with the following documents and a Bank draft for Rs.2000/- (Rupees: Two Thousand only) (non-refundable) pledged to Comptroller, SKUAST-Jammu payable at Jammu must reach to Dy. Registrar (Acad.), SKUAST-Jammu, Chatha on or before 16th August 2019
  3. Detailed marks certificate/PDC/degree certificate of bachelor’s degree from concerned board/ university; date of birth certificate (matriculation); detailed marks certificate (10+2); character certificate by the institute last attended; migration certificate from institute last attended
  4. Fee for Filling the Online Application Form Rs.2000/-
  5. Fee for filling the Online Application Form with late Fee of Rs.3000/-
