UGC NET 2018 December Dates Revised – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has release the notice mentioning the change in exam dates for UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) 2018 December session. According to the revised scheduled, UGC NET 2018 will now be conducted from December 18 to 22, 2018 in two shifts. Earlier, the UGC NET 2018 was scheduled to be held between December 9 to 23 2018.
As per the new schedule UGC NET 2018 will be held in 5 consecutive days in online mode in two shifts—first shift is from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm and second shift from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
The exam date and shift as per the subject opted by the candidate including the city and centre will be notified on the Admit Card which will be available from November 19 onwards on the official website: ntanet.nic.in to those candidates whose applications are complete and fall under UGC NET eligibility criteria. Candidate may please note that admit cards will not be sent by post.
The candidates shall check the information including his/her photograph and signature showed on the UGC NET 2018 admit card is correct once they download their admit cards. In case of any discrepancy, they must immediately approach the Help Line between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm from November 19 to 22, 2018. In such cases, candidates can appear in the examination with the already downloaded admit cards, however, NTA will take necessary action to make correction in the record later.
The candidates are advised to report to the examination centre well in time. In the first shift, they won’t be allowed after 8:30 am and after 1:30 pm in the second shift.
UGC NET exam is conducted for the posts of Junior Research Fellowship or eligibility for Assistant Professor or both in Indian University.
