TS DEECET 2021 – Applications are invited for Telangana State Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test popularly known as TS DEECET 2021 for admission to 2-year D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) and D.P.S.E. (Diploma in Pre-School Education) Course in Govt. DIETs / Private unaided Elementary Teacher Education Institutions (including Minority and Non-Minority) in the State of Telangana for the Batch 2021-23.

- Online Application starts from: 06th Aug 2021
- Last date for payment of application fee through online /submission of application through online: 25th Aug 2021

- Issuance of Admit Card: 04th September 2021
- TS DEECET Exam Date: 08th September 2021
- TS DEECET Answer Key: To be announced
- Declaration of TS DEECET Result: 15th September 2021
- Certificate Verification: 18th – 21st September 2021
- Web Options/Allotment of seats/colleges to Candidates and payment of tuition fee by the candidates: 25th September 2021

Eligibility Criteria for TS DEECET 2021
- The anticipated eligibility criteria for TS DEECET 2021 is given below.
- Nationality and Domicile: Applicant must be an Indian National and candidates should satisfy the local/ non-local status requirement as laid down in the Telangana Government
Educational Qualifications
- Qualifying degree requirement- should have passed or appeared/appearing for the Intermediate exam or it’s equivalent are eligible for the entrance test.
- Minimum Marks Requirement- at least 50% marks (45% marks for in case SC / ST / PH Category candidates) in aggregate in the qualifying examination.
Age Limit
- Candidates must be more than 17 years of age as on September 01 of the year of admission. There shall be no upper age limit for admission in the above-mentioned programs.
- Note: Candidates who passed Intermediate Examination with vocational courses are not eligible.

- Eligible candidates can apply online through official website http://www.deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in/
- Candidates shall first download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the TSDEECET website deecet.cdse.telangana.gov.in, go through it carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for TSDEECET 2021

Selection Procedure
- Selection will be based on marks scored in the Entrance exam

- No. of Questions: 100 questions
- Total Marks: 100 Marks
