Karunya University announces Entrance Examination (KEE) 2020 for Admission to B.Tech., B.Sc. Agriculture and B.Sc. Horticulture Course

KEE 2020 Karunya Entrance Exam – The Application form for KEE 2020 has been released for admission to all UG courses of Engineering, Science and Arts of Karunya University for the academic session 2020.

The Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences will conduct All India Karunya Entrance Examination (KEE) for admission to B.Tech, B.Sc Agriculture, B.A., B.Com and B.Sc Horticulture Courses only.

 

Karunya Entrance Examination (KEE-2020)

  1. The admission for all UG Courses of Engineering, Science and Arts is considered based on merit. The candidates will be admitted to each program based on Karunya Entrance Examination (KEE-2020) only for B.Tech./B.Sc. Agriculture/B.Sc. Horticulture and Higher Secondary Score.
  2. The admission will be confirmed to a candidate after receiving his/her original certificates as per the eligibility norms of the Institution.

  1. Release of Online Application: 15th November 2019

Eligibility Criteria for Karunya University Admission 2020

  1. The candidates applying for KEE-2020 must ensure that they must fulfill the eligibility criteria as given by Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences.

 

Educational Qualification for B.Tech Programs

Aerospace

  1. Candidate should have passed Class 12th or its equivalent examination with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics Or
  2. Candidate should have qualified in 10+2 vocational stream (with subjects such as General Machinist, Electrical Machines and Appliances, Electronic Equipments, Draughtsman Civil, Auto Mechanic, Textile Engineering, etc) with any one the Engineering related subjects namely Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics and should have obtained not less than 50%.

 

Biomedical; Civil; Computer Science & Eng.; Electrical and Electronics Eng.; Electronics and Communication Eng.; Mechanical Eng.; Biotechnology

  1. Candidate should have passed Class 12th or its equivalent examination with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics Or;
  2. For those who have not studied Mathematics in 10+2, should have passed Class 12th or its equivalent examination with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Zoology/ Botany/ Computer Science

 

Food Processing & Engineering; Agricultural Engineering

  1. Candidate should have passed Intermediate/ Class 12th in PCM from a recognized Board/ University and should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

 

For B.Sc. Agriculture

  1. The applicants should have passed Intermediate/ Class 12th in PCM/ PCB/ PCMB from a recognized Board/ University and should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

 

B.Sc. Horticulture

  1. The candidate should have passed Intermediate/ Class 12th in PCM/ PCMB/ PCB/ PC (Forestry)/ Inter (Agriculture) from a recognized Board/ University and should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

 

Age Limit

  1. The candidate’s age should not be more than 21 years as on 01st July 2020.

 

Selection Process

  1. The admission for all UG courses of Engineering, Science and Arts is considered based on merit. The candidates will be admitted to each programme based on Karunya Entrance Examination (KEE-2020) only for B.TECH. / B.Sc. Agriculture and Higher secondary score

KEE 2020 Exam Pattern

  1. The exam pattern for KEE 2020 is as follows (as per last year):
  2. Mode of Examination: Computer-Based
  3. Type of Questions: MCQ
  4. Negative Marking: There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
  5. Standard of the Questions: For the entrance test, the questions will be as per the HSC/ +2 level.

  1. Mathematics – 40 Questions & 40 Marks
  2. Physics – 25 Question & 25 Marks
  3. Chemistry – 25 Question & 25 Marks

For B.Tech in Biotechnology, B.Sc Agriculture/ Horticulture

  1. Biology – 40 Question & 40 Marks

KEE 2020 Admit Card

  1. The admit card for KEE 2020 will be released and available to download at www.karunya.edu. The candidates will be able to download their KEE 2020 Admit Card/ Hall Ticket by entering their Application Number and Passcode.

 

KEE 2020 Application Process

  1. The candidates can log on to https://admissions.karunya.edu and submit his/her expression of interest (EOI) online about the course he/she would like to pursue at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences.
  2. Once the EOI is received, you will get an acknowledgement SMS and Email from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences indicating the Application No. and pass code to apply online.
  3. With the Application No. and pass code, you can submit candidates can submit his/her online application at https://admissions.karunya.edu
  4. Provisional Admission with course of your choice can be obtained on making an initial payment as per the approved fee structure of KITS through online mode / DD mode / electronic payment mode / cash payment mode.
  5. Candidates should upload the required documents along with and pay Application fee of Rs. 1000/- for Indian Nationals (USD 250 for NRI or Foreign Nationals)
