UPSC Results 2018: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the result for Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Exam 2018 on its official website upsc.gov.in.
Based on the result of the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service written examination 2018 held in June & July 2018 followed by interviews for Personality Test held in November 2018, the Union Public Service Commission has released the lists of 46 successful candidates, in order of merit, who have been recommended for appointment to posts in Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service.
The marks of the candidates shall be available on the website www.upsc.gov.in within fifteen days from the date of publication of result.
Out of 46 candidates, 14 candidates have been recommended for Indian Economic Service and 32 candidates are recommended for Indian Statistical Service.
Appointments of the following candidates shall be made strictly in accordance with the existing rules and the number of vacancies available.

The press note released by UPSC also read, “The offer of appointment to the candidates, whose result has been kept provisional, will not be issued till the Commission verifies the original documents, awaited from such candidates, and clears their provisional status. The provisionality of these candidates will remain valid only for a period of three months from the date of declaration of final result, February 28, 2019.”
