NDA NA II 2016 results declared by UPSC

The Union Public Service Commission has declared the results for NDA and NA (II) 2016 exam. The examination was held on September 18, 2016 at 41 centres across the country. Candidates can check their results on the official website of UPSC.  Here are the steps to check the NDA NA II 2016 results :

  1. Visit the UPSC official website upsc.gov.in
  2. Look for the What’s New section on the right side of the page
  3. Click on the link for result of NDA and NA (II), 2016
  4. Click on the .pdf document link. A new page will open
  5. The roll numbers of successful candidates will be displayed on the screen
  6. Check and save your results carefully

The candidature of all the candidates, whose roll numbers have been published, is provisional. These candidates have qualified and will be called for the Services Selection Board (SSB) for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy for the 138th Course and for the 100th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) starting from July 2, 2017.

The candidates who cleared the NDA and NA (II) 2016 examination should register themselves online on Indian Army’s recruiting website joinindianarmy.nic.in within two weeks. The selection centres will be allotted to the successful candidates and dates of SSB interview which shall be communicated on their registered e-mail ID. Candidates can mail any kind of queries or login problems to dir-recruiting6-mod@nic.in.

The candidates Joining Indian Naval Academy would undergo 4 years B.Tech course and would be given an opportunity to join Executive and Technical Branches of the Navy subject to availability of vacancies

National Defence Academy:355 (208 for Army, 55 for Navy and 92 for Air Force)

Naval Academy : 55 (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme)

Vacancies are provisional and may be changed depending on the availability of training capacity of National Defence Academy
