Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Exam Results have been delayed because of the Jat reservation issue. UPSC Results are expected to be declared after the verdict on Jat quota reservation by Supreme Court of India.
The UPSC Civil Services Exam Results are generally declared in the second week of March. Candidates are further required to appear for other stages like personality test/interview.
This year, Nearly 20, 000 aspirants appeared for the UPSC Civil Services Exam and have been waiting for the result ever since.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Civil Services Exam for candidates who are interested in joining the Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS).
For UPSC Examination, Candidates from general category are permitted a maximum of six attempts. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) have no restriction on number of attempts, whereas, Nine attempts are permissible to an aspirant belonging to Physically challenged candidates and candidates from Other Backward Classes (OBCs).
