UPSC announces results for Engineering Services Examination 2014

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has made available the list of successful candidates in the UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2014 conducted in June. The candidates who made it to the list are eligible for the interview and personality test.

The candidates will be required to furnish the original certificates to their claims relating to educational qualification, age, community, physical disability (if applicable) etc. while appearing in the personality test. They are, therefore, advised to keep all the necessary documents ready and visit the official website of UPSC to cross check the instructions and requirements in detail.

As per the stated UPSC policy for the Engineering Services Examination, candidates are required to fill up the Detailed Application Form, currently available on www.upsc.gov.in and submit it online in accordance with the instructions given.

UPSC has already announced that the DAF will be available on its website till December 15, 2014 11:59 pm. The candidates whose roll numbers are featured in the list of successful candidates are required to register with UPSC before filling up the DAF.

All qualified candidates have also been asked to refer to the ruled of the Engineering Services Examination published in the Gazette of India on March 22, 2014 (available on the UPSC website).

“Interview of candidates who have qualified for the Personality Test is likely to be held in the months of January to February, 2015. The exact date of interview will, however, be intimated to the candidates through Interview Letter. Roll Number wise Interview Schedule will also be made available on Commission’s Website by last week of December, 2014,” read the official UPSC press release announcing the declaration of results.

“The mark-sheets of candidates who have not qualified, will be put on the Commission’s Website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result (after conducting Personality Test) and will remain available on the Website for a period of 60 days,” it added
