UGC NET 2018: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the marks of UGC National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) on its official website: cbsenet.nic.in. All the candidates who have appeared for the examination can check the results through the official website.
The board has declared the result details of 55872 candidates who have qualified the exam. The list consists of the roll number, subject, category, grand total and result remarks. Candidates can check their individual results using their roll numbers
The UGC NET exam was conducted on July 8 in 84 subjects at 91 selected cities. The result of UGC NET 2018 was declared on July 31st by CBSE.
A total of 11, 48,235 candidates had registered for the exam this year. Out of these 11, 48,235 candidates, 8, 59,498 appeared in both the papers of the exam. 55,872 candidates qualified for eligibility for assistant professor while 3,929 candidates qualified for both JRF and assistant professorship. As per the UGC policy, 6 percent of those candidates who appeared in both the papers and obtained minimum qualifying marks in aggregate of both papers were declared NET qualified.
Next UGC NET Exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The NTA-NET will be held from December 2-12 in two shifts per day on Saturdays and Sundays.
